Marvel Studios' Reveals Phase Four Of The MCU At SDCC

Marvel Studios made a huge splash at San Diego Comic-Con this year and revealed some amazing new titles coming to the silver screen and to Disney+. Check out the entire MCU Phase 4 list below.

BLACK WIDOW

Marvel Studios’ BLACK WIDOW will star Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz and will be directed by Cate Shortland. The Black Widow movie is set to take place after the events of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and will explore a side of Natasha that we haven’t seen before. David Harbour also revealed that he will be taking on the role of Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian.

In theaters May 1, 2020.

ETERNALS

Marvel Studios’ THE ETERNALS stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, and Don Lee and will be directed by Chloé Zhao.

In theaters November 6, 2020.

WANDA VISION

Marvel Studios' WANDAVISION, an original series with Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Teyonah Parris. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Spring 2021. Kevin Feige revealed that WandaVision will have a direct connection to Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness.

LOKI

Marvel Studios’ LOKI, an original series with Tom Hiddleston. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Spring 2021. The Loki series is set to take place after the events of the first Avengers movie after Loki steals the space stone in Avengers Endgame and will be the first MCU/Disney+ series that will take place in an alternate timeline.

HAWKEYE

Marvel Studios’ HAWKEYE stars Jeremy Renner, an original series that will also introduce Kate Bishop. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Fall 2021 and Jeremy Renner revealed that the series will focus on Clint’s time as Ronin.

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

Marvel Studios’ THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, an original series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Daniel Brühl. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Fall 2020. The series takes place after the events of Avengers Endgame and will see The Falcon and The Winter Soldier take on Baron Zemo.

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

Marvel Studios’ SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS, stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Tony Leung, and is going to be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The film is set to tell the story of Shang-Chi as he takes on the real Mandarin and the Ten Rings.

In theaters February 12, 2021.

DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

Marvel Studios’ DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS will star Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen with Scott Derrickson returning to the director’s chair. Scott Derrikson revealed that the film will be the first horror movie in the MCU and will explore the trippy nature of the multi-verse.

In theaters May 7, 2021.

WHAT IF…?

Marvel Studios’ WHAT IF...?, Is the first animated series in the MCU, The series stars Jeffrey Wright as the voice of The Watcher, and many actors from across the MCU reprising their roles as voice talent. Streaming exclusively on Disney+, Summer 2021.

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

Marvel Studios’ THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER will star Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman with Taika Waititi returning as the director. It was also revealed at Hall H that Natalie Portman will become Female Thor in the film.

In theaters November 5, 2021.

BLADE

Kevin Feige surprised the fans at Hall H by revealing that BLADE is joining the MCU with Mahershala Ali in the title role. No release date has been confirmed.
