Activision Releases Trailer for Call of Duty "Blackout" Mode

Yesterday, we got news of the details of what will be in Call of Duty's entry into the battle royale space. Today, we get a full trailer of the Blackout mode.

This is Blackout. Fight through classic Black Ops locales while playing as some of your favorite characters from across the series. Drop into the action in a wing suit, and take command of land, sea and air vehicles in this last-player-standing experience celebrating the Black Ops series in an unprecedented way, all on the biggest map in Call of Duty® franchise history.

The trailer shows battle royale in the classic Call of Duty pacing, iconic characters like Woods (Black Ops), Reznov (World at War, Black Ops), vehicles, wingsuits hot drops, zombies, items, and much more. 

The Blackout Beta will be live for PlayStation players on September 10th and players on remaining platforms will get to test the mode from September 14th through the 17th. The beta is available for players that have preordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released for PlayStation 4, XBOX One, and PC on October 12th
