Art Piece Of The Week - Black Manta

For this week's 'Art Piece of the Week' Gabriel and Michael brought us an amazing rendering of one of Aquaman's great foes, Black Manta. 

For those of you that may not know, Black Manta made his first appearance in Aquaman #35 in September 1967. The character was created by Bob Haney and Nick Hardy. Black Manta will make his live action debut in the upcoming "Aquaman" film being directed by visionary director James Wan.

The image is absolutely stunning, and I think the creators of the character would be very proud.

After seeing the trailer for aqua man, I really got motivated to draw this guy. I feel like I was more excited about black manta than aquaman lol. This was all done digital. Really happy with how this one turned out.
