Black Panther Remains #1 for The Fourth Straight Weekend and Crosses the $1 Billion Mark.

Black Panther joins the Billion Dollar Club!

Black Panther has crossed $1 Billion at the worldwide box office making an estimated $1,078,615,601 and has taken the #1 spot for the fourth straight weekend, becoming the first MCU film to do so. Black Panther has made an estimated $562M domestically making it the second highest grossing super hero release of all time, and the 7th largest overall box office domestic release of all time. The film has also captured the 3rd largest 4th weekend of all time making an estimated $41.1M right behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($42.3M) on its 4th weekend. 

Black Panther opened in China this weekend making an estimated $66.5M bringing the international box office total to $516M. Black Panther is the 5th film in the MCU to cross the billion dollar mark, and will join the top 20 highest grossing films of all time this week edging out The Dark Knight Rises and becoming the highest solo superhero film of all time.
