Director Todd Phillips Reveals Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker

On Friday, the director of the still untitled Joker movie Todd Phillips, released set footage of Joaquin Phoenix turning into the Joker with the final frames being a hard look at the Clown Prince of Crime.
The movie will show Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a struggling comedian, and his decent into the madman that is the Joker a la “The Killing Joke”, the 1988 Batman comic. The stand alone Joker movie is set for an October 4th, 2019 release.
