Eva Longoria Joins The Cast of 'Dora The Explorer'

Eva Longoria has joined Paramount's live-action 'Dora The Explorer' movie as Dora's mother.

THR reports that James Bobin (Alice Through the Looking Glass) will direct the film from the script written by Nick Stoller. Kristin Burr will produce the film alongside John G. Scotti, Julia Pistor and Eugenio Derbez who will serve as the film's executive producers. The movie's production companies are Paramount Players, Walden Media, and Nickelodeon.

Dora The Explorer Synopsis

The film will follow Dora (Isabela Moner) as a teenager moving to the city, and dealing with high school. She finds herself leading Boots (her monkey best friend), and a group of teens on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.

"Dora The Explorer" is set to hit theaters on August 2, 2019.
