MCU Phase 5 Timeline Revealed

Marvel Studios absolutely stole the show during this year’s SDCC event . Kevin Feige revealed the entire slate of films for Phase 5 of the MCU, showcasing the path into the multiverse and beyond.

Here’s everything we know about Phase 5 of the MCU so far.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Kevin Feige confirms that ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’ will mark the official beginning of Phase 5 of the MCU, and Modok has been confirmed to join the film.

The film is being directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Johnathan Majors, and Bill Murray.

Plot Details

“The Lang/Van Dyne family must navigate the Quantum Realm and all of its dangers, including Kang The Conqueror.”

The film is set to be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.

Secret Invasion

‘Secret Invasion’ will star Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Coleman.

Plot Details

“Nick Fury is back on Earth and must now face the Skrull invasion, helped by Talos, Maria Hill, and some other old friends.”

The series is set to be released on Disney+ in Spring 2023.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

James Gunn confirmed that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ will be the end of this era of Guardians and will serve as an origin story for Rocket.

Chukwudi Iwuji has joined the cast as The High Evolutionary and Maria Bakalova has been cast as the voice of Cosmo.

The film is set to be released in theaters on May 5, 2023.

Echo

‘Echo’ will star Alaqua Zahn, McClarnon, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Charlie Cox.

The series is set to be released on Disney+ in Summer 2023.

Loki - Season 2

‘Loki’ Season 2 is set to be released on Disney+ in Summer 2023.

The series will star Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

The Marvels

‘The Marvels’ is being directed by Nia DeCosta and will star Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, and Samuel L. Jackson

The film is set to be released in theaters on July 28, 2023.

Blade

Blade will begin filming in October and is set to be released in theaters on November 3, 2023.

The film will star Mahershala Ali as Blade and will be directed by Bassam Tariq.

Ironheart

‘Ironheart’ will be released on Disney+ in Fall 2023.

The series will star Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams (Ironheart).

Agatha: Coven of Chaos

‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ will star Kathryn Hahn and is set to be released on Disney+ in Winter 2023.

Daredevil: Born Again

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will have 18 episodes and will star Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Captain America: New World Order

‘Captain America: New World Order’ will star Anthony Mackie and is set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

Thunderbolts

Thunderbolts is set to be released on July 26, 2024.

Potential Members may include Baron Zemo, Yelena Belova, Ghost, Taskmaster, Abomination, and U.S. Agent.
