Top Gun: Maverick Movie Review
“Top Gun: Maverick” is a masterclass in filmmaking and proved that the theatrical experience must be preserved.
The film has stunning cinematography, great performances, an amazing sound mix that will put your home theater system to work, and features some of the most gripping Aerial battle scenes I’ve ever seen.
Speaking of great performances, Tom Cruise continues to solidify himself as one of the greatest action stars to ever grace the silver screen.
Miles Teller was another huge standout in the film for me. I felt every moment of his resentment towards Maverick, his respect for Maverick as a pilot and I felt his uncertainty of not being able to live up to his expectations, and trying to live up to his father’s name.
Overall, I thought “Top Gun: Maverick” earned its nomination for Best Picture at the Oscars and will reign as one of the great sequels ever made.
