Snake Eyes Spin-Off Movie In The Works At Paramount

THR reports that Paramount is working on a G.I. Joe spin-off movie featuring Snake Eyes as a way of rebooting the franchise. 'The Huntsman: Winter’s War' and 'Beauty and the Beast' (2017) co-writer Evan Spiliotopoulos has been tapped to pen the script for Snake Eyes. No casting, director, or release date news have been revealed so far. 

'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' grossed $302M Worldwide and it's sequel 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' grossed $375M Worldwide. Snake Eyes is one of the most iconic characters in the G.I. mythos and I for one am excited to hear that this film is in development.
