Although Solo: A Star Wars Story took the #1 spot at the domestic box office this weekend, it only opened to $84M which is a lot lower than early tracking was indicating for the film. Disney projected that 'Solo' would open between the range of $130-$150 million for the four-day weekend, but 'Solo' struggled to even cross $100M over the memorial day weekend coming in at $103M domestically with a worldwide total of $172.7M.

Solo is the lowest rated Star Wars film since the prequels with a 70% on Rotten Tomatoes. I had a lot of fun with the film, but I also had issues with some of the plot. The last three Star Wars films have all grossed over $1B Worldwide, will Solo be able to join the billion dollar club? Stay locked to Careful 4 Spoilers to find out.
