Sword and Shield Trailer Shows New Rivals and New Forms of Old Pokèmon

A new trailer for Pokemon Sword and Shield showed off more characters players will interact with. Along with that, the trailer shows of new “Galarian Forms” of Pokèmon we are familiar with like Weezing who now sports a smokestack reminiscent of old London during the industrial revolution (or a bong, depending on who you talk to). Gen 4 Pokèmon Zigzagoon and its evolution Lineone get a new color scheme and a 3rd evolution. Watch the full trailer below.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will release for Nintendo Switch on November 15th 2019. Special Edition Nintendo Switch Lite releases on the same day.
