The Pokemon Company Teases Mega Evolutions got Lets Go! Games

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company released trailers for the Let's Go! series of games. They showed off battle gameplay, interations, and surprisingly, Mega-Evolutions will be a part of Pokemon Let's Go! games.

The addition of Mega Evolutions are an interesting choice as that wasn't originally introduced until Generation VI (Pokemon X and Y), however there is precedent of The Pokemon Company going back and revamping a past generation to include mega evolutions as was the case in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (Gen III).

Return to Vermilion City, do battle with the troublesome Team Rocket and witness the awesome power of Mega Evolutions like Mega Charizard Y in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, coming to Nintendo Switch on November 16th!

Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Gyarados are ready to battle! In Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!, you can Mega Evolve these two powerful Pokémon to unlock their full potential.

Aside from the Pokemon that were teased in the trailers, other Pokemon that can Mega Evolve from Gen I are Pinsir, Alakazam, Gengar, Aerodactyl, Beedrill, Pigeot, Slowbro and Mewtwo. There is no indication that these Pokemon will have their mega evolutions in Lets Go! but we can maybe assume that they will give all possible Pokemon their Mega Evolved forms. 

Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Pokemon Lets Go! Eevee will be available on the Nintendo Switch November 16th, 2018.
