Warner Bros. Reveals the Logo and release date for SHAZAM!

Official SHAZAM Logo Revealed

Warner Bros revealed the official logo for SHAZAM! yesterday and today WB announced that SHAZAM! is set for an April 5th, 2019 release date. 

The film is directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) and stars Zachery Levi as Shazam!, Asher Angel as Billy Batson, and Mark Strong as the films antagonist, Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. 

Dr. Thaddeus Bodog Sivana was created by Bill Parker and C. C. Beck and made his first appearance in Whiz Comics #2 in 1940. Sivana is known as Shazam’s most frequent archenemy to this day, and is a brilliant strategist with a genius level intellect. 

I really enjoyed “Lights Out”  and I’m curious to see what Sandberg can do with the Shazam character.
