Blizzard reveals new Overwatch Hero #28

To (almost) everyone's surprise, Hero #28 aka Hammond is... not a small, agile monkey.
Yes, Hammond is in fact, a hamster, and according to his initial Overwatch Lore, the Champion of Junkertown Mech Battles. The mech Hammond is seen popping out of could be the much speculated escape device that is seen in blueprints of Winston's escape pod.
The escape pod, now hanging from the Spawn room in Watchpoint Gibraltar is missing the round object that was previously attached. It seems Hammond as repurposed the pod and retrofitted two canons to its side. More details to this new off-tank hero should be revealed within the next few days or weeks as well as the potential PTR and following public server release.
Update: Wrecking Ball Origin Story Cinematic and Abilities have been released and Wrecking Ball is now available in the PTR for PC players.
