Nintendo Direct 2021 Recap

By: Bryce L. Jackson

Nintendo held their first full Nintendo Direct event since 2019 that laid out the games they plan to release this year. Some announced in this Direct event will release in 2022. These games vary between new releases, past gen titles being brought to Nintendo Switch, and multiplatform games getting their Switch release. Notable omissions from today’s stream included Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid, Pokemon Snap, any 25th Aniversary Pokemon content, or any news of a “Switch Pro” release.
